Rev. Kathleen Mowat.
Message from the Minister
I have been with you in Coldwater and Eady for two months this fall.
We have shared wonderful times of fellowship and worship. It has given us the opportunity to reconnect and catch up on the last two years!
Every time I make the drive from Gravenhurst to Coldwater I feel as if I am returning home.
The faith communities of Coldwater and Eady are welcoming, joyful and compassionate places.
I am in the office on Wednesdays, and I am happy for us to get together. Please let me know through the office when would be a good time for us to have a visit.
Our faith community is a place where we welcome questions, support each other and nurture spiritual growth.
I offer this prayer for your reflection during this Fall season.
God, giver of all good,
You continually pour out your benefits upon us.
Age after age, the living wait upon you and find,
That your faithfulness has no end.
That your care is unfailing.
We praise you that the mystery of life is a mystery of infinite goodness,
We praise you for the order and constancy of nature.
For the beauty and bounty of the earth,
For day and night, summer and winter, seed time and harvest,
For the varied gifts of loveliness which every season brings.
We give you thanks, for all the comfort and joy of life,
For our homes, for our friends and for all the love, sympathy and good will of all people.
